The Ballad of Swishy
A downloadable game
You are F.I.S.H.: Fish Infiltrate and Stop Harm!
The queen's ocean is paralyzed with shock. There has been another terror attack within local quadrants! We know the chum responsible—the dastardly FUNNEL. Worm supremacists who would like to have their way with the seven seas, and beyond that, probably. There's even rumors they have something big, possibly a weapon NOTW...
F.I.S.H. is a school of highly trained anti-terrorist military-cops who have prepared their entire gestation to stop the bad guys. That's how we know they're good fish.
They just need 🫵 YOU! Are you bad enough to swish a joint-task mission with these trained profishionals? Can you solve incredibly dirtbrained puzzles? Master the art of speculamancy? The fate of all ecosystems is in your hands, acting admiral.

Part 2 of the Tunnels of Vextro anthology. Please play Part 1 first, Worms Will Eat, because it is one of my favorite games and I will be sad if you don't. Although The Ballad of Swishy sort of stands alone, it was made in response to Worms Will Eat.
The worm cycle continues. Part 3 is the stunning De Vermis Amoribus. Don't be a Weston, keep on digging~

This is default RPGMaker2k with the RTP included. Windows only (but Linux geniuses know what to do). If it doesn't launch, the game folder should contain a fullscreen launcher that can bypass driver conflicts. I would also recommend EasyRPG, although I haven't tested the game functionality myself using it as an interpreter.
There is also a walkthrough included, because the game is hard. Enjoy experiencing the conflict of worm.

this was awesome. lots of great threads, thoughts on violence & absurdity & the theatre of games & RPG aesthetics/mechanics. i like the walkthru a lot, thinking about the implication of open "secrets"...
